Physical Therapy

Fighters: The Numbers vs. The Need

Fighters experience one injury every 1,000 minutes.  That means roughly every 11 classes, a fighter gets hurt.  This is what their recovery looks like:

  • 49% of injured fighters will return to sport before it is safe
  • 85% will suffer side effects that impact their safety and performance
  • 84% will suffer relapse

What the hell are we doing wrong?

It is my firm belief that fighters are a special type of athlete.  Most athletes use physical therapy that is highly specific to the individual athlete and the demands of their sport.  However, fighters are still treated with general protocols.  As a result, fighters are being put at high risk of injury and re-injury.

Fighters do not have any good physical therapy in their corner.

Let's change that.

One-on-One Appointments

Start with a 60 minute screening appointment for $100.

We'll look at your specific problems in isolation and then in the context of fighting.  Once we figure out what's going on, we'll start you on a treatment plan that may involve massage, joint mobilization, stretching, and specific exercises unique to you and your fighting style.

Whether it's the mat, the ring, or the octagon, we'll get you back in there.
